Devlog #2 Why is AI so hard??


Hello Pioneers,

I've been working hard on creating a fun and responsive car AI – and let me tell you, it's almost done... but wow, why is it so dang hard?

Right now, I'm using a path-following system, where the car sticks to predefined waypoints. It works – but it feels super limited when I try to create more diverse or dynamic behavior. For anything beyond basic driving, this approach starts to fall apart quickly.

Do you know a better method for driving AI?
Something that feels smart, adaptable, and fun to race against?
