Devlog #4 We are back


Hello Pioneers,

after a short but refreshing summer break, we’re back – and so is development on Drunk Driving (name still work in progress, don’t worry… or maybe do 🤔).

During the past weeks, we didn’t just relax with a cold drink in our hands – we actually worked hard (sometimes with a drink in hand, too). Here’s what happened:

  • The map got a serious upgrade. Bigger, better, and with more places to get lost in.

  • Major bugs have been fixed. (At least the digital ones – the ones in real life are still on the loose).

  • AI cars are alive and kicking. Yes, they now roam the streets and will either behave… or not.

  • And for the very first time: we started shaping a story.

That’s right: Drunk Driving won’t just be a silly sandbox where chaos unfolds (although it very much will be that too) – it’s turning into a strange but wonderful mix of story-driven madness and open-world nonsense.

As one of our definitely real developers once said:

“It’s really cool.”

⚠️ The game is still deep in development and not open to the public yet. But here’s the exciting part: very soon a handful of chosen ones (the lucky testers) will get their hands on the first playable version. If that sounds unfair – don’t worry, the wider release will follow once we’ve seen what happens when people actually try to play this thing.
